Cedar & Velvet began with a simple frustration: closet organization had split into two bad options. On one side, an endless scroll of cheap plastic on Amazon — impossible to judge, quick to break. On the other, beautiful pieces at prices that made you wince.
We wanted a third thing. A small, carefully chosen collection of closet essentials that actually last, look considered, and cost what they should. So we started testing — velvet hangers that don't let a neckline slip, cedar that keeps wool safe without a chemical smell, drawer systems that hold their shape after a hundred openings. The ones that earned their place made the shelf. The rest didn't.
Everything here is chosen the same way: would we keep it in our own closet? If the answer is no, it's not for sale. That's the whole philosophy — fewer things, better made, priced fairly.
